Masters College Intensive ESOL and activity programs to encourage English language development. Often the vocabulary of the lessons prepares students for the activities that follow, e.g. outdoor activities such as orienteering or bush-walks, visits to police or fire-stations, and sports such as croquet and indoor-bowls.

Masters College also offers “Summer School” during the long break between NZ academic years. This is also held at the Masters Hall campus. “Summer School” is a residential course targeting the specific needs of individuals, and students are able to concentrate on their English study and enjoy the environment. Excursions to farms and trips to tourist attractions in the Central Districts are also part of the programme.

Masters College Foundation Course prepares students for study at either high school or tertiary levels. Foundation Course is also residential at Masters Hall.
